First of all I LOVE the Hades Hangmen series!!!! but, I knew going in this book was going to be difficult for me. In the end, I was NOT happy with Cain/RIder and "Harmony" as a couple. She deserved much better! I LOVE her, she is wonderful and strong and loving and brave and the reunion we got in this book was amazing. I still have no use for Cain/Rider.

Ok, in my opinion, Rider's redemption should have come with his death. He could have sacrificed himself saving Bella and the innocents.
Bella has had to be sooooo strong and brave and she needs someone she can lean on too, someone strong who will be there for her and support her and be strong for her too. That is NOT Rider/Cain. She had to take care of him all the way through this book. Bella should be with someone like Viking! He would give her his strength and protection and fill her life with laughter. she could use that. I love her reunion with her sisters! That was amazing. Their Love and connection and bond in so strong and wonderful.

I was very disappointed and frustrated that there were no chapters from Ky and Lilah's POV, there was so much going on with them!
This book would have been better as a compilation...the demise of the cult, the reunion of the sisters, Ky and Lilah's life changes, Riders fate.; with multiple POV's .

Anyway, still not a Rider fan , I cannot forget that Cain/Rider GAVE LILAH TO MICHAH. Micah asked for her and Cain gave her to him to be raped!!! That was not Judah or part of the punishments Judah handed out, that was Cain/Rider.

I LOVE Bella and I will definitely be reading the other books I have loved them all except this one.

I have to admit, I had to debate for a while before I got and read this book. I really didn't like Rider/Cain after all the things that have happened in the other books, especially after the second one. But, I figured that I would give the book a chance, maybe Tillie Cole would be able to do something to actually redeem him in my eyes.

Cain spent 5 years as Rider, a member of the Hades Hangmen. Now that his uncle, the Prophet David, has died, he's the Prophet Cain. With his twin brother, Judah, at his side, he's going to rule their church and lead his people on to where they should go. The problem is that Cain really doesn't feel like he fits in and he doesn't think that he can do his job. When he finds out that things he didn't think were happening were actually happening and is betrayed, he suffers, terribly.

Harmony has been staying in a commune in Puerto Rico. Her guardians have been hiding her so that she won't be cast as a Cursed, but when that happens and it's decided that she's going to have to marry the new Prophet, she knows that she must do her duty. But, then she meets someone else and things drastically change.

OK, the twists in this were totally a surprise to me. Sometimes I can see some of them, and there was one that I kind of guessed, but the biggest one was a total shocker. I loved how it worked out though. It was pretty awesome.

The ending though, that was totally devastating. Broke my heart altogether and I sat and cried and cried over it.

I do find Cain's name interesting. I mean, in the Bible, Cain is the one who murdered his brother, and to have the mark of Cain was to be marked as evil, so for the heir to the prophet to be given that name was an interesting choice. Of course, it could be argued that he did murder his brothers in a way, since he betrayed the Hangmen the way that he did. One of those things to keep thinking about, I think. Every time I read this book, I'm sure it will be in my head.
OMG what an absolutely emotional and exciting and disturbing book...I loved it! Cain just broke my heart into tiny pieces and I almost thought I would not recover...the pain and anguish and hurt was so deep and the betrayal so huge... I was sure there would be NO coming back from it.
The innocents who lose their lives, the destruction and evil caused by Cain's unbalanced and crazed twin was almost too much to ingest...but in the end this story ended on a somewhat settled note, although there is still very much healing left to repair feelings and mistrust.
I was riveted to the love story in Deep Redemption and Tillie Cole never fails to impress me with her intense storytelling. Now on to book 5...need a breather first and to calm down.
